Regent has launched its new Arctic Winter 2023/24 brochure, offering a winter collection of holidays to Iceland, Lapland, Greenland, Norway and Sweden. With departures from 1 November 2023 until 31 March 2024, the collection offers ideas to tempt every style of traveller, including active adventures, luxury spa and wellness breaks, city breaks and fly-drive itineraries. Amongst new inclusions are North Iceland Winter fly-drive, offering a journey through the best of the northern region, and a Havila Cruises package, including a night in vibrant Bergen and in the Snowhotel Kirkenes, alongside six nights onboard.

New in Iceland
Brand new from Regent for 2023/34 is a ‘North Iceland Winter fly-drive’, offering a four night/five day tour, making great use of direct easyJet flights from London Gatwick to Akureyri, which will launch on 31 October 2023, and fly on Tuesday and Saturdays until 30 March 2024. Exploring the best of North Iceland, this new tour starts in Akureyri, the northern capital, before traversing the scenic Skagafjördur and Tröllaskagi peninsula; taking in the thunderous cascades of Godafoss and Dettifoss, and the beauty of Lake Myvatn and ending in the charming fishing village of Húsavík, including a chance to bathe in the recently opened Forest Lagoon. Making a welcome return to the Iceland programme, there are also three re-introduced packages set in and around Reykjavik, each focussed around a particular theme, and each including new excursions:

- Iceland Mountains and Glaciers Adventures– five-day tour from £1,285pp, including a thrilling all-terrain vehicle tour to the top of Mt. Festarfjall, as well as black sand beaches, volcanoes, waterfalls and glaciers.
- Iceland Food Adventure– five-day tour from £945pp, including a guided tour of Reykjavik’s best gourmet restaurants and food trucks, as well as Golden Circle sights and sailing out in the ocean in search of the northern lights.
Prices for each package are based on two sharing, including four nights’ accommodation in Reykjavik with breakfast, return flights from the UK and transfers and excursions as specified in each itinerary.

Newly added to Regent’s Sweden programme for 2023/24 is a ‘Wellness Escape at Arctic Bath’, the famed floating hotel, inspired in design by the floating timber history in the area, frozen into position in winter months. With accommodation in 12 luxury cabins, alongside a restaurant, lounge, bar, cold bath and spa, Regent’s four-day break combines age-old traditions with luxury wellness, mixing spa treatments with a plentiful choice of Arctic inspired adventures for those who wish, such as dog sledding, snowshoe hiking, Sapmi cultural experiences or trips to spot the northern lights.
