Radisson goes to Liepaja, Latvia
Radisson has announced the signing of a 90-key Radisson Hotel Liepaja located in a beautiful art deco building in the town centre in the coastal town of Liepaja, Latvia. This renovated historical property will offer guests a wonderful combination retaining its beautiful history without compromising on the services required by the modern traveller.
Elie Younes, executive vice president and chief development officer of Radisson Hotel Group said: “We continue offering the largest network of upper upscale hotels in the Baltic. Latvia remains an important market for us and this will be our first hotel outside of Riga, where we currently have seven hotels in operation and one under construction. This is a welcome addition to our 20 hotels in operation and in pipeline in the region”.
The 90-room hotel in the city centre is within walking distance to all key attractions, businesses and the beautiful beaches. In addition to a restaurant and lobby bar, the hotel will also offer two unique meeting rooms and two banquet halls for all type of events, galas and meetings.
Liepaja is the third largest city in Latvia, located on the west coast of the country, close to the border with Lithuania. The Liepaja Special Economic Zone has been created to help the city to attract international investment and there is also a thriving port.
