Princess Cruises Reveals Elevated Culinary Delights Onboard Sun Princess

Sun Princess, Princess Cruises’ incredible next-generation ship, will debut early next year, elevating culinary excellence at sea with an unparalleled array of dining sensations catering to every palate and desire, including exciting concepts from world-renowned chef Rudi Sodamin and a celebrity chef to be announced soon.
Delectable dishes can be found throughout the stunning new ship, with 29 contemporary and signature dining and lounge options offering everything from savoury journeys and entertaining eats to sumptuous drinks and satisfying snacks.

Guests on the latest Love Boat will be treated to an array of tempting new dining experiences, ranging from the captivating theatre of Japanese Teppanyaki at Umai Teppanyaki, where world-class cuisine intertwines with captivating performance, to a seafood nirvana at The Catch by Rudi from award-winning chef Rudi Sodamin. Meanwhile, The Promenade takes a different approach, offering customers delicious slices of Promendade Slice pizza, gourmet burgers, savoury hot dogs, freshly baked bagels, and tempting arrays of ice cream.
While the new additions promise novelty timeless favourites, Princess dishes remain essential to the Princess dining experience. From the refined elegance of the Crown Grill to the irresistible charm of Sabatini’s, to the delightful authenticity of Alfredo’s Pizzeria, the artful creations at Kai Sushi, the classic tunes at Crooners, the warm ambience of the WheelhouseBar, and the engaging performances at Princess Live!, these favourites continue to complement the dining tapestry that Sun Princess so expertly weaves for its guests.
The ship’s numerous dining decks have something for everyone, starting with breakfast and ending with late-night snacks. Coffee concoctions, frozen treats, sushi specialities, gourmet pizza, zesty barbeque, premium burgers and hot dogs are available for travellers to enjoy. Vegetarian and plant-based meals provide a variety of alternatives for all diners.
The Horizons Dining Room elevates the traditional main dining experience by highlighting a magnificent sculpture from deck 6 to 8. Horizons will provide multicourse dinners to guests from friendly waitstaff, each level having its personality, delivering different dining experiences and formality levels. Breakfast options include a Smoked Salmon Omelette and Swedish Pancakes; lunch options are Corn Chowder with a Signature Burger, Cobb Salad, or Quinoa Salmon Poke Bowl; and dinner meals include Lamb Leg Provençale, Sautéed Redfish Caponata, and Cauliflower Steak with tahini, couscous, and asparagus.
The Signature Collection of suite accommodations provides access to the new Signature Restaurant (Deck 7) and Signature Lounge (Decks 15/16). At the same time, the Reserve Collection of mini-suites and cabana cabins offers access to the Reserve Collection Restaurant (Deck 7). Both private dining parts include special menu selections such as a Prime Rib Carving Trolley and an enhanced array of chefs’ gourmet creations.
The options are exceptional and endless no matter where guests are on the Sun Princess.
The 175,500-ton, 4,300-guest Sun Princess, which is now under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, will also include an array of exciting new entertainment and activity options, as well as luxurious staterooms and suites in a broad range of categories.
Guests may enjoy the sunlight and crystal-clear seas of the Mediterranean and Caribbean from the opulent comfort of their stateroom, as it has the most balconies and sun decks of any Princess ship. The Dome, an innovative entertainment venue inspired by Santorini’s terraces, is the ideal location to unwind, while the Arena!
