Prince Hotels has almost completed a major renovation of its flagship property, the Tokyo Prince Hotel.
The hotel will reopen on 1 April 2017 following a project to upgrade all 462 rooms and suites, the lobby and restaurants. The rooms are now divided into three categories, including a new Club Floor that provides access to a brand new Club Lounge.
The revised lobby area now includes a space dedicated for groups, while the buffet restaurant’s interiors have been refreshed. In addition, some of the hotel’s conference and banqueting space has been upgraded.
The Tokyo Prince Hotel opened for business in 1964, the year of the first Tokyo Olympics, and the latest renovation comes as the city counts down to its second Olympics in 2020.
