Preferred Hotels & Resorts has continued to expand its global collection of properties with the addition of 23 new member hotels, nine of which are located in the Asia Pacific region.
In the last few months, the world’s largest hotel representation company has added two more hotels in Japan, two in China, two in Vietnam and two in India, along with one property in the Maldives.
These included the 267-room Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, the former Four Seasons property which is set in five hectares of gardens; the 376-room Windsor Plaza Hotel, which marks Preferred’s entry into Ho Chi Minh City; the 333-room Minyoun Chengdu Dongda Hotel, which was recently voted one of China’s “Top 10 Glamorous Hotels in 2017”; and the soon-to-open 312-room Chedi Mumbai, which will become GHM’s first hotel in India.
Other new members include the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, Sherwood Suites in Ho Chi Minh City. Biyadhoo Island Resort in the Maldives, Minyoun Chengdu Kehua Hotel and WelcomHotel Coimbatore.
Outside Asia, Preferred has also added new properties in the US, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, UK, Portugal, Italy, Turkey and Spain.
The company now represents more than 650 properties in 85 countries across its five global collections.
