Philippine Airlines to adopt Amadeus digital solutions
The Philippine flag-carrier aims to boost its tech stack with state-of-the-art solutions
Philippine Airlines (PAL) selected travel tech developer Amadeus to boost its current tech stack with revolutionary solutions that can enhance the travel experience of its passengers.
In doing so, Amadeus arms the airline’s team of travel sector experts with the necessary knowledge to help its digital channels evolve into a more efficient and effective system.
The Philippine flag-carrier stands to benefit from the full integration of customer is set to revolutionize its tech stack with a broad set of solutions and services from Amadeus to enhance the travel experience of passengers on its international and domestic flights.
What does this partnership involve?
Philippine Airlines digital transformation journey began with its adoption of Amadeus’ Altéa Passenger Service System (PSS) back in 2018, as well as its customer profiling and personalization solution Traveler DNA.
Now, the airline selected Amadeus yet again to redesign its website and operate it from a new cloud based infrastructure. Amadeus will then provide managed services to maintain, monitor, and fully manage the cloud hosting environment of the website.
At the same time, Philippine Airlines will implement the Amadeus Loyalty Management solution to enhance the proposition of its Mabuhay Miles loyalty programme. This aids Mabuhay Miles’ transformation into a digital, lifestyle loyalty programmne that will better serve loyal customers.
The modern loyalty technology will further empower the airline with a full range of capabilities including currency retailing, a modern UI experience, a loyalty member portal, targeted promotions, real-time identification and allocation of benefits, as well as advanced acquisition, member recognition and segmentation.
