Philippine Airlines has formed a new partnership with Uber, aimed at providing its employees with a new way of getting to work.
Under the “uberHOP” ride-sharing service, employees heading in the same direction will be able to share an Uber car during rush hour for a fixed fare.
“With this partnership, employees of the PAL group will have a convenient… car-pooling option at their fingertips. Transport safety and reduction in traffic rush-hour stress will be highly beneficial to employee welfare,” said PAL’s vice president of human capital, Maria Antonia Llamzon.
The new service is available to registered Uber users and both PAL and PAL Express employees based at the PNB Financial Center, Nichols and PAL Inflight Center.
