O by Tamara Trivandrum leads beach cleanup drive

O by Tamara Trivandrum, in partnership with The School of The Good Shepherd and We Grow Forest, conducted a beach cleanup drive at St. Andrews Beach, Trivandrum, on 15 November 2024. As a responsible hospitality brand, O by Tamara continues to prioritise sustainability and environmental stewardship through initiatives that engage the local community.
The event saw participation from over 200 students from The School of The Good Shepherd, along with their teachers and volunteers from O by Tamara and We Grow Forest. The cleanup effort was aimed at removing waste from the beach, emphasising the importance of environmental conservation and the active role communities can play in protecting natural resources.
“O by Tamara remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainability, and this beach cleanup drive reflects our ongoing efforts to give back to the environment and the community,” said Shinoj Joseph, General Manager, O by Tamara, Trivandrum. “Collaborating with schools and local organisations enables us to not only address environmental issues but also inspire the younger generation to adopt eco-friendly practices.”
This cleanup drive is part of O by Tamara’s ongoing efforts to integrate sustainability into its operations, collaborating with local schools and environmental organisations to contribute positively to the environment and the community.
