Six Senses Spa Kocataş Mansions, Istanbul, is a beautiful, serene, and private spa overlooking the famed Bosphorus.
Six Senses Spa Kocataş Mansions is set in a beautifully restored 100-year-old stone house elevated above the retreat and blending into the natural landscape.
The 1,500 square-metre three-level spa was built with natural materials from the original setting and incorporates artefacts from Ottoman palatial collections to pay homage to the past.
There are five treatment rooms, three hammams, two steam rooms, two saunas, an open-plan relaxation area, and a retail boutique, as well as a holistic anti-aging centre, Pilates studio, alchemy bar, and nail bar.
The one-of-a-kind Turkish hammam experience is led by local hammam experts and offers a cleansing, relaxing, and restorative experience rooted in tradition.
Each hammam’s interior design is unique. It has a spacious lounge and decorative glass panel design to allow dappled daylight and a glimpse of the iconic Bosphorus view, making it ideal for bridal hammams or special occasions.
The walls of treatment rooms are created with dazzling blue tiles inspired by the tiles of the Blue Mosque to commemorate Turkish culture and finished with red line details to give the walls a natural, authentic, and smooth finish.
Sündüz Ediz Kibar, Director at Six Senses Spa Kocataş Mansions Istanbul, said, “Six Senses Spa Kocataş Mansions in Istanbul is a magical place for guests and members alike.”
We finally opened our doors after months of anticipation, completing the resort’s identity.”
