Holiday Taxis Group has confirmed Ian Coyle as its new managing director.
Coyle has been with the company for the past seven years, more recently as SVP global sales, leading its global source market and regional base expansion into China, the wider Asian markets, Gulf territories and the Americas.
He is promoted with immediate effect, working closely with Sir Colin Chandler, who will revert to his position as deputy chairman.
Commenting on the announcement, Coyle said: “I’m extremely proud and honoured to be asked to lead this fantastic organisation. It’s been at the centre of my life for many years now, I love the business, I love the people in our business and truly believe we have the best team in the industry here.
“Working with Sir Colin has been enlightening to draw upon his vast experience in business and commerce and, I look forward to this continuing, as the Board, Executive Team and Shareholders are committed to our continuing quest for global domination within our space in the industry”.
The company has also confirmed the promotion of Rebecca Cain to deputy MD, who will retain her financial and commercial director responsibilities within the business. Cain has worked at Holiday Taxis Group for the past three years.
