NagaWorld has extended its sponsorship of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) and the country’s athletes, by offering cash incentives for gold medallists at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games.
The announcement was made at an exclusive media launch held at NagaCity Walk in Phnom Penh, attended by key NOCC officials including HE Nouth Sa An, Cambodia’s Secretary of State and first Vice President of the NOCC, HE Vath Chamroeun, General Secretary of NOCC, and NagaWorld senior management.
NagaWorld has supported Cambodia at major sporting events since 2011, sponsoring the national athletes at the SEA Games, Asian Games and Olympics. This year, the country’s national contingent at the 29th SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur is several hundred strong.
As part of the company’s “Go For Gold” SEA Games campaign, NagaWorld will offer US$3,000 to any individual gold medallist and US$5,000 for any team gold medal won, in addition to a US$500 contribution to the NOCC for every gold medal. NagaWorld will also be sponsoring a complete set of branded apparel and sports gear for the team.
“We would like to extend the best wishes to the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, athletes and staff heading to the SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur. NagaWorld is honoured to continue our sponsorship in support of NOCC and national contingent to Go For Gold in SEA Games and represent the Kingdom of Cambodia with pride,” said NagaWorld’s executive director, Pern Chen.
“Looking at the significant milestones achieved by our national athletes over the years, we are confident they will continue to shine on the world stage. NagaWorld is proud to lend our support to our athletes beyond the 2017 SEA Games in Malaysia, including the Asian Games in Indonesia next year. It is our great honour to be part of this meaningful journey together with NOCC in promoting the sports development for the country,” he added.
In line with the SEA Games “Go For Gold” campaign, NagaWorld has also launched a series of special room, spa and F&B packages promotions. Find out more from www.nagaworld.com.
