Mövenpick takes over luxury Hua Hin resort

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has secured the contract to manage a luxury resort in Hua Hin, on Thailand’s Gulf coast.

The existing Asara Villa & Suite Resort is a 96-key property featuring 54 pool villas and 42 suites. It is scheduled to relaunch with Mövenpick branding in November 2017.

Asara Villa & Suite Resort will be rebranded as a Movenpick

Facilities will include a series of F&B outlets, including a beachfront restaurant, a spa with eight treatment rooms, a children’s club, library, multiple swimming pools and meeting space.

“Our Mövenpick Resort in Hua Hin is the perfect destination for families, couples and exclusive meeting groups seeking sanctuary from the hustle and noise of Bangkok,” said Andrew Langdon, the Swiss hotel group’s global chief development officer and senior vice president for Asia.

“Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin is set to add an exceptional new luxury accommodation choice for visitors.”

The new Hua Hin property will join Mövenpick’s existing three resort properties in Thailand – Mövenpick Siam Hotel Pattaya, Mövenpick Resort Bangtao Beach Phuket and Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket.
