New research from toy manufacturer, Play Like Mum, has revealed the most family-friendly airlines from around the world.
At Play Like Mum, which has 30 years of experience in creating toys, they know that travelling with children can sometimes be challenging. All airlines, even the biggest ones, go down to the details of keeping kids comfortable and happy while they travel.
With this in mind, the company ranked the world’s biggest airlines on eight factors: free seat reservations, free checked luggage, pre-boarding for families, no lap fees, kids’ meals, free kids’ entertainment, on-board bassinet, and whether passengers can take pushcarts for free.
Key findings from the research revealed that British Airways and Emirates are best for families as they offer all of the factors mentioned. Virgin Atlantic, Lufthansa and Air France also scored highly, while Jet2.com and Ryanair ranked lowly. Finally, last on the list is Flybe which took the bottom spot with only one factor on offer.
