Mitzpe Hayamim reopens after USD 23 million restoration in Israel
Following an extensive USD 23 million renovation, Isrotel, Israel’s leading hotel group, has reopened Mitzpe Hayamim as the latest addition to Isrotel’s Exclusive Collection of five-star, deluxe hotels, kicking off an ambitious pipeline of 10 hotel launches slated over the next few years. This marks the Exclusive Collection’s seventh property in the portfolio.
The 115-key hotel is embraced on all sides by lush greenery on the gently rolling slopes that overlook the majestic Hula Valley and Sea of Galilee. The 17-acre property is long-renowned for its organic dairy farm, spice and herb gardens, vegetable fields and fruit orchards. Guests find sweeping views from almost every corner of the hotel, including the majority of the guestroom balconies, the spa and pool and expansive public terraces.
Led by London-based interior design firm ARA, in close collaboration with acclaimed architects Yehuda and Yoel Feigin, the design honours the beloved hotel’s heritage with dedicated spaces for rest and relaxation, using natural colours and materials to preserve its quintessential charm.
“As our first property in the Galilee, it will be the north star for our Exclusive Collection of luxury offerings across Israel,” said Lior Raviv, CEO of Isrotel Hotels. Notable amenities include the library and meeting spaces with capacity for up to 150 people, including a lush ecological pool and wooden deck area concealed between the hotel’s shrubbery. The Artists’ Gallery serves as a workshop area for local artists and displays their work for guests to admire.
