Visitors headed to the Republic of Maldives are in for a special treat as three new resorts are scheduled to open in 2019. The tropical paradise is now ready to pamper more guests on its stunning white sands with properties from Hard Rock Hotels, Saii Resorts and Baglioni Hotels.
Hard Rock Hotel Maldives
Set to open in March 2019, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives will infuse contemporary design features with tropical architecture throughout the property, alongside regionally-inspired, authentic music memorabilia.
The hotel will provide guests with exclusive brand offerings and amenities, including The Sound of Your Stay music programme, offering complimentary use of Fender guitars and Crosley record players for in-room jam sessions, as well as a renowned full-service Rock Spa which will offer quirky music-inspired treatments.
Guests can also treat their taste buds to on-site food and beverage options ranging from a Pool Bar and all-day dining, to Pan-Latin cuisine at The Elephant and The Butterfly, or the Hard Rock Cafe itself.
Saii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton
Just across the lagoon where Hard Rock Hotel Maldives is nestled, Saii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton will open its doors in April 2019. The hotel will feature nearly 200 guestrooms, beachfront and overwater villas.
Guests can choose from various drinking and dining options that cover a selection of different flavours and cuisines, including artisanal coffee at Bean/Co Cafe or gourmet breakfast at Cafe Del Mar and Thai food at Mr Tomyam or local seafood at Miss Olive Oyl.
Baglioni Resort Maldives
Baglioni Hotels has announced the official opening of its Maldives Resort on the island of Maagau in the Dhaalu Atoll in March 2019. The island resort will be the first Italian luxury five-star resort in the Maldives.
Baglioni Resort Maldives will offer 96 villas with a selection of garden, beach or over-water options, as well as three family beach villas and a 1,230 sqm super-luxe Presidential Water Villa.
