Loganair’s new Haugesund route to Norway from Aberdeen airport
A new service has taken off to Haugesund, operated by Loganair at Aberdeen International Airport. From 24 February, flights are operating all year round four times a week on a Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The lively city on Norway’s beautiful west coast is the perfect base to explore mountains, fjords and waterfalls. It is the fourth route to the country from Aberdeen including Oslo, Stavanger and Bergen.
Steve Szalay, managing director of Aberdeen International Airport said: “We’re proud to welcome the new international Loganair route connecting the north east of Scotland with Norway. The new route strengthens our links with strategically and economically important regions, boosting the local economy and providing greater choice for holidaymakers.”
Kay Ryan, chief commercial officer of Loganair said: “As an airport, a city and a gateway to some of our most popular routes, Aberdeen is very important to Loganair. The addition of Haugesund to our schedule opens up yet another European destination to passengers in the North East and we look forward to helping them discover everything this stunning destination has to offer.”
