Travel Operations Manager – required for this award winning ,expanding travel company based in South Manchester offering a basic salary up to £35k , along with other company benefits . This is a great opportunity to work for a leading travel company as a Travel Operations Manager and will be responsible for leading and developing a small team of operations consultants, whilst supporting and playing a hands-on role within the team. The Travel Operations Manager will build and maintain relationships with 3^rd party suppliers and assist with the management of flights and land-based arrangements. This role will initially be office based in South Manchester but will eventually be hybrid and will be working Monday -Friday office hours, with some flexibility required .

Travel Operations Manager duties
*Overseeing a busy Operations team by leading and developing a team to achieve personal and company targets
*Completing regular training on any new products/services
*Build and maintain relationships with suppliers including airlines, hotel, and land-based suppliers
*Responsible for ensuring all out of date range flights, accommodation and products are booked to strict deadlines

Travel Operations Manager skills required
*Experience working as a Travel Operations Manager, Supervisor or Team leader within a Tour Operator, Airline or Business Travel team
*Confident working within a busy varied role supporting a team but also playing a hands-on role within the department
*Excellent communication skills with experience building relationships with suppliers across different sectors of travel
*Experience dealing with flights and a good understanding of fare rules and airline regulations
