An established travel company are recruiting for a Travel Manager to join their team based in the Leeds area . This role will be leading and supporting a small team of Travel Consultants, completing regular one to ones and product training, whilst making sure the team achieve personal and store targets . This role will also be developing business and leads through building strong relationships with local companies and the community . This role will be mainly office based but there maybe some flexibility for homeworking and will be working a shift pattern with shifts between 9am-9pm on a rota basis , which will include some evenings and weekends and offers a salary up to £30,000 plus commission & bonus
Travel Manager Responsibilities
.Leading and developing the Travel Consultants through one to one development and product training
.Ensuring the highest service levels are offered to clients to retain and build a loyal client based
.Monitor performance across the team and encouraging the Travel Consultants to achieve personal targets
.Develop new business within the local area and work closely with trade partners
Travel Manager Experience
. Experience managing travel sales teams either within a Travel Agency or Tour
. Ability to lead and develop a team of travel sales consultants within a busy sales team
. Confident developing business and building relationships with trade partners and 3rd party suppliers
