Trade Sales Manager – Home Based – £40-45k. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Travel Industry Sales professional to join a European, boutique cruise operator, who position themselves as a means to travel and explore unique destinations and experiences rather than as a traditional cruise operator. This will be a home/field base role, targeting tour operators, retail travel agencies, OTA’s and consortia across the UK.

Trade Sales Manager Responsibilities

Reporting to the UK Country Manager, you will be responsible for creating and driving a sales strategy that will contribute to increasing passengers from the UK source market. You will be negotiating commercial agreements with travel trade partners such as cruise agents, retail and online travel agents, tour operators and consortia, increasing brand awareness and representing the company at industry events.

In addition to developing new business and growing existing accounts, you will also lead on the creation and delivery product training webinars to drive awareness and familiarity to trade partners in order to better sell their products.

Trade Sales Manager Skills Required

• Experience selling to the Travel Trade, preferably from a tour operating and travel experiences background due to how the product is positioned
• Track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and ambitious sales professional
• Strong commercial acumen

Trade Sales Manager Package

A basic salary of £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + up to 10% bonus, phone, laptop and all business travel related expenses
