Sports Business Travel Consultant – Required for this expanding Sports Travel TMC. You will be working in the Sports Travel Team booking Worldwide flights both individual and groups , hotels and transfers using sabre. Homebased or hybrid offices in Manchester and London , salary between 30/35k plus bonus and benefits. They are looking for Sports Travel experience or a SBTC who is looking to move into Sports Travel

Sports Business Travel Consultant – travels duties
-Overall full project management and coordination of travel arrangements for supporters or sports clubs , team travel and association of sporting clubs
-Arranging group travel and logistics for air, hotel and transfers
-Client & delegate liaison, as well as coordination with global teams when required
-Negotiating with suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective fares for the client while maximizing revenue for the company
-Occasional travel and on-site management when required

Sports Business Travel Consultant – skills required
-Experience in sports or groups flights within a TMC or as a SBTC looking for a change with an interest in sports
-Excellent organisational skills
-GDS competent (preferably Sabre), ideally educated to BA/VA 1 and 2 standards.
-Experienced in handling complex travel programmes
-A good team player but also able to work autonomously and take ownership and responsibility for own projects
-Adept at using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
-Very good verbal and written communication skills
