Senior Trading and Commercial Manager, Tour Operator, London/Hybrid, £55-60k + bonus. We are currently seeking a commercially astute and highly numerate individual to join an award winning, well-established and global tour operator based in London with a good deal of flexibility around hybrid working for the right individual.
Senior Trading and Commercial Manager Responsibilities
This is a newly created role in the organisation that will be shaped by the individual with expected responsibilities that include but are not limited to;
- Extracting, analysing, interpreting and making recommendations from multiple sources of data from across the business such as GDS and other systems.
- Trend analysis.
- Cost and margin analysis.
- Pricing and yield management.
- Identifying commercial opportunities to increase margins and revenue.
- Providing management information to departmental heads to support with decision making.
- Support the product development team by providing insight on volumes and margins required for them to be sustainable.
Senior Trading and Commercial Manager Skills Required
- A highly analytical and numerate individual.
- Experience working in commercial, trading or finance departments within the travel industry.
- Strong user of Excel and Pivot tables
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially astute with an eye for identifying opportunities for revenue and margin growth.
- An ability to influence at a senior level.
Senior Trading and Commercial Manager Additional detail
- A starting salary in the region of £55-60k basic + bonus
- Its anticipated that this individual can progress and advance earning potential within 6-12 months.
- A good level of flexibility for hybrid working dependant on location (likely minimum would be once a month in London or slightly more if local and preferred).
