Business Development Manager (B2B), Hertfordshire / Hybrid, Corporate and Leisure Travel, £40-60k + bonus. This is a newly created role within an entrepreneurial and growing travel company with a number of businesses, products and services aimed towards corporations and the travel industry.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities
- Within the wider organisation, there is a stand alone Travel Management Company with a handful of staff that’s grown through word of mouth so this new role will be tasked with accelerating their growth through to acquisition of corporate clients for whom they will manage their travel programmes.
- The other main focus of this role will be to grow their fulfilment and partnerships / white label business which works with established brands who are looking to sell travel but have an expert organisation behind them to fulfil all aspects of the operation such as product, licensing, legal, customer service, sales and marketing on a profit share basis.
- With both pillars of responsibility, you will need to research potential prospects, initiate personalised marketing campaigns, establish and nature positive relationships to drive business growth.
Business Development Skills Required
- A successful track record of b2b sales within the travel industry
- Familiarity with CRM systems and online booking technology
- Highly driven, self-motivated and target oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
- Adept at establishing and nurturing strong professional relationships
Business Development Manager Additional Details
A basic salary in the region of £40,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
Bonus structure (details of which are still being ironed out)
Hybrid working (2 days a week in the office)
All travel expenses to visit clients/events etc
