Vietnam’s largest golf tour operator is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the company’s business growth and strategies. You will be responsible for market assessments, destination awareness growth, as well as end-client and agent expansion. This position reports to the Vietnam Country General Manager and based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Duties:

1. Manage business development and proactive growth campaigns

2. Organize and host familiarization trips for agents and media

3. Develop special offers and promotions with suppliers, partners, and other related companies

4. Attend trade shows, golf tournaments, and other events to enhance the company’s image and market position

5. Create and update content for web sites, social media, press releases

6. Liaise with head office and other countries to maximize the scope of services offered

7. Develop, monitor, and report metrics for business development tracking

8. Represent the company and meet with clients as assigned

Experience required:

1. Proven business development or marketing experience

2. In-depth knowledge of hospitality, tourism, or golf industry

3. Fluency in English

4. Knowledge of customer relationship management tools

5. An analytical mind with a strategic ability

6. Excellent organizational and leadership skills

7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

8. Degree in business, marketing or relevant field

Salary & benefits:

1. Approximately US3,000 per month depending on experience

2. Annual bonus, annual leave, health insurance, and travel allowances

Candidates should be organized, enjoy interacting with foreigners, able to manage multiple items simultaneously, and well suited for working in a medium-sized company. Outgoing and service-minded is a must.
