Japan Airlines increases flight options for customers traveling between Tokyo (Haneda) and New York (JFK)
Japan Airlines’ Pacific Joint Business partner, American Airlines is launching new nonstop service on the Tokyo Haneda (HND) – New York (JFK) route from June 28, 2024. JAL announced that it will add its code to the new flights. Customers will now have the option to choose from three daily flights between the two cities, including two daily nonstop flights operated by JAL. Being the only U.S. carrier to fly between New York and Tokyo, American Airlines’ new service will also provide customers with enhanced connectivity to destinations in the United States, Central and South America via New York.
JAL is co-located with American Airlines at JFK Terminal 8, offering customers a seamless travel experience. Eligible customers have access to the state-of-the-art Soho Lounge™ and Greenwich Lounge™, which provide comfortable space to relax and elevated dining experiences.
For American Airlines’ inflight service, Flagship® Business offers all-aisle access, fully lie-flat seats. Additionally, on flights between Japan and North America routes, customers can enjoy an elevated inflight experience such as chef-designed Japanese menu, branded pillows and blankets developed in collaboration with sleep technology company Casper, and complimentary entertainment with Bang & Olufsen headphones.
JAL will continue its collaboration with American Airlines to improve convenience for customers traveling between Japan and the United States, and will continue to take on new challenges to provide more options for our customers.
