JAL pals: Amadeus becomes Japan Airlines recommended distribution partner

Japan Airlines (JAL) and Amadeus have announced the extension of their existing distribution and IT agreement. The contract re-up, will see the two firms deepen their ties, with Amadeus becoming the carriers recommended distribution partner in the Japanese market.
Furthermore, travel agent partners of the Spanish techsperts will now have enhanced access to JAL’s own content. All of this content will be available for travel sellers to shop, book and service through the Amadeus Travel Platform. As well as being able to use accurate and efficient information sharing with complete visibility of JAL’s inventory.
On the other side, Japanese agents will have access to the Amadeus service levels and support in addition to the company’s repository of global content to sell to their customers.
