IWTA speaks with Celia Lao, GM Greater China Air Asia Digital

We are delighted to introduce you to Celia Lao,
GM Greater China Air Asia Digital

Background:

Since graduating from the University of Macau with a BBA (Hons) in International Marketing, Celia has immersed herself in the aviation industry, beginning in 2003 when she took on the role as Head of Marketing for Macau International Airport. In 2004 she started working with Air Asia, when the concept of a low-cost carrier was very new to the market. Celia has never been one to shy away from a challenge, she sees it as an opportunity to learn and look at how the airline has grown all over Asia, especially Greater China.

Summary:

Celia rejected the concept that a woman cannot have a successful, demanding career and a family. She was determined to learning how to be a mother with the same demonstration of discipline and desire to learn as she applied in her career. She shares pearls of wisdom in her interview about career, family, discipline and inspiration.
