International flights start from Jakarta T3

International flights have commenced at Terminal 3 of Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
The new terminal’s first international services departed on 1 May 2017, with Garuda Indonesia operating flights from T3 to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
Soekarno-Hatta’s new T3 was formally opened in August 2016. Garuda’s facilities at the hub will include 26 check-in counters and a 2,100m² executive lounge with more than 400 seats.
“Garuda is optimistic that the presence of this international Terminal 3 service will not only be a concrete step towards the development of competitive infrastructure and transportation services… but also a milestone for the development of national tourism aspects in the eyes of the world,” said Garuda’s new president director & CEO, Pahala N. Mansury.
A free shuttle bus services is available for passengers wanting to connect from T3 to T1 and 2.
