Dnata Travel Group UK’s adventure and touring brand, Incredible Journeys, has revealed that Monday 13th January, was their best day on record for calls and bookings. The calls taken on Monday were +37% higher than the same day last year, and +30% higher than Incredible Journeys best day in 2024. Despite the increase, the brands answer rate remained strong.
Simon Owen, Trading Director commented: “Although yesterday was our best trading day ever, we have seen promising numbers over the last few days. As we expected, 11th January was a great day for trading and we are delighted to see the momentum continue throughout this week.”
Owen continued, “Our sales centre colleagues are answering an incredible number of calls with a strong conversion rate – the Incredible Journeys team spent 2024 preparing for this and it is paying off.”
Incredible Journeys launched their new peaks marketing campaign and book, Little Book of Incredible Journeys on 3rd January which showcased an exquisite selection of inspirational touring and adventure holidays for agents. Inspirational itineraries to popular destinations including Sri Lanka, Japan and Kenya can all be discovered throughout the campaign – all of which were in growth last week.
Sri Lanka saw a growth of +25%, Japan saw a growth of +80% and Kenya was up +75% last week compared to the same period last year.
