ibis Styles makes Philippine debut
Accor’s creative hospitality brand opens its doors in one of the capital’s more popular urban neighbourhoods
The Accor Group’s ibis Styles opened its first hotel in the Philippines in Araneta City, one of Quezon City’s fashionable neighbourhoods.
The ibis Styles Manila Araneta City embodies the vibrant energy of its location which is home of Araneta Coliseum, one of Asia’s largest indoor arenas, as well as a bustling arts and pop culture scene.
Located right next to the iconic coliseum, the hotel offers 286 artfully decorated and comfortable rooms across three different room configurations. Bold hues and distinctive local elements ignite creativity, offering a space with personality. Each room features Sweet Bed™ by ibis, a hand shower, and a 43-inch IPTV.
Along with hip dining and leisure facilities, the ibis Styles Araneta City also provides well-designed meeting facilities for participants to unleash their creativity. Its meeting room can accommodate up to 120 to 150 guests and can be divided into three separate spaces.
Changing the Philippine hospitality scene
According to Accor’s Chief Operating Officer in Asia Garth Simmons: “ibis Styles Manila Araneta City is a game changer for the Philippines’ hospitality industry and we are ecstatic to debut this design-forward economy brand in the country.
Simmons added that ibis Styles’ belief in freedom of expression and the power of creativity celebrates those who live boldly, encouraging exploration and discovery. The brand revolutionises the way people think about economy accommodation.
Likewise, the Philippines is a core market for Accor’s expansion strategy, and its first ibis Styles hotel in the country is a key milestone.
