“In an era where consumers prioritize health and food safety, it is imperative that our industry lives up to their expectations. Also, Phaltan’s unique offerings and its increasing prominence as a tourist destination made it an ideal choice to host the latest programme here. By empowering hospitality professionals in Satara with the necessary skills and knowledge, we aim to further elevate the standards of safe and healthy food practices in this thriving hospitality hub. We are immensely proud of the success of this initiative and our dedication in this direction remains steadfast,” says Pradeep Shetty, President, HRAWI.
HRAWI has successfully trained and certified 2647 professionals in FSSAI’s FoSTaC Training Program. “It is in the interest of hotels and restaurants that HRAWI holds training programmes regularly and wants members to be fully aware and educated about all the new developments and practices in food safety, food handling and hygiene. The programme is designed by FSSAI, especially for this purpose, and we are glad that members proactively enrolled their staff in the programme,” concludes Sandeep Talaulicar, Executive Committee member, HRAWI.
