From an artsy hotel in the US’ largest urban art district to a patisserie-themed boutique hotel in Rome — here’s the hot list of hotel openings this week.
HALL Arts Hotel
Dallas-based real estate developer HALL Group announced the opening of the highly-anticipated HALL Arts Hotel, currently under construction and set to open in the fall of 2019 in Dallas’ Arts District. The first hotel to open in the largest urban arts district in the USA, HALL Arts Hotel will celebrate the enriching, inspiring, transformative power of the arts.

Hilton Taipei Sinban
The recent opening of Hilton Taipei Sinban in New Taipei City marks the return of Hilton Hotels & Resorts to Taiwan. The hotel offers 398 rooms with city or mountain views and features 50-inch HDTVs, in-suite BOSE audio systems, high-speed Wi-Fi and in-room espresso machines as standard.
Situated in central Banqiao District, New Taipei City, it sits 37 minutes from Taoyuan International Airport and 17 minutes from Tongshan Airport. Local government, shopping, entertainment and computer, communication and consumer electronics business zones are also close by.
JA Lake View Hotel
Scheduled to open in September 2019, JA Lake View Hotel will add 348 rooms and suites to the area. It’s 10 minutes away from Dubai Parks & Resorts, 20 minutes from Dubai’s buzzing JBR and 30 minutes from the iconic Dubai Mall.
The new 5-star property joins the JA Beach Hotel and the all-suite JA Palm Tree Court to become Dubai’s largest resort. Hotel features include restaurant concepts driven by Michelin-star chefs, three outdoor swimming pools and a rooftop bar with views over the golf course and Arabian sea.
Four Points by Sheraton at Kochi Infopark
Marriott International has opened Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark, expanding the brand in Kerala, India. The addition of this property strengthens the Four Points brand presence in India to 12 hotels across key gateway cities and upcoming destinations across the country.
Nestled in one of Kochi’s largest IT hubs, and located within close proximity to several corporate parks, the hotel also features 464 square metres of dedicated meeting space for conferences, weddings and social gatherings.
The First Roma Dolce
The First Roma Dolce, a new patisserie-themed boutique hotel, is set to open its doors in March 2019. Situated on Via del Corso, one of the most iconic avenues in Rome, the Dolce will be the newest addition to The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio.
The hotel is housed within a classic 19th-century building designed by Italian architect and urban planner, Giuseppe Valadier, who is known and celebrated for creating the elliptical design of Piazza del Popolo. It will be home to 23 refined suites and guestrooms, with views overlooking Via del Corso.
