Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will expand its superhero line-up this summer, with the launch of a series of new attractions at its Marvel zone.
The theme park entered the Marvel universe earlier this year with the opening of its new Iron Man Experience. And from 14 June to 3 September 2017, Hong Kong Disneyland will host a “Marvel Super Hero Summer”, featuring characters from the Agents of SHIELD, led by Captain America. Guests can also meet Spider-Man, Thor, Star-Lord and Doctor Strange.
“Marvel’s Super Heroes are some of the world’s most fascinating characters and appear in amazing stories. We’re incredibly proud to create this experience just for our fans in Asia,” said Randy Wojcik, Hong Kong Disneyland’s creative director of entertainment & costuming.
“Following the incredible success of Iron Man Experience, which inspired double-digit growth in male guests, even more superhero-themed entertainment is on the way.”
In addition to the new attractions, Hong Kong Disneyland is offering Marvel-themed F&B and special Iron Man room promotions at its hotels. The park has also teamed up with Cathay Pacific to provide holiday packages for guests from Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Korea and Australia.
