Hallie Chua is GFOB’s regional marketing manager for Southeast Asia
Singapore-based Chua brings in over a decade of experience in the travel sector
The Globus Family of Brands (GFOB) announced that Hallie Chua is their first-ever regional marketing manager for Southeast Asia.
In her new capacity, Chua takes on the implementation of trade and consumer marketing strategies, essentially strengthening GFOB’s position in the region.
Seen as a symbol of GFOB’s commitment to the region, this newly-created post covers the cruise and tour firm’s marketing initiatives in one of the world’s most dynamic sectors for cruises and coach tours.
According to GFOB head of marketing in the Asia-Pacific Chris Fundell, Chua’s appointment is further proof of the company’s expansion.
Fundell said of Chua: “We have every confidence Hallie will be key to driving growth across our portfolio in Southeast Asia. She’s hit the ground running in her first few weeks, leading strategy across her markets, and connecting with our distribution offices through the region and trade partners.”
He added that, with growth in Southeast Asia a pillar of GFOB’s long-term strategy, Chua’s wealth of experience, market expertise and extensive network of industry relationships make her the best choice for the role.
Chua expressed that she looks forward to her work in the new position, saying: “GFOB is a leader in the touring and cruising industry, and I’m thrilled to be joining such a reputable company in an exciting growth period. I’m looking forward to representing GFOB at future industry events – it will be great to connect further with local consumers and trade to drive elevated brand awareness in the region.”
