PHIST 2022, (Phuket Hotels for Islands Sustaining Tourism), the latest edition of this sustainable tourism forum, will take place on 26 September 2022 as a live event and Green Expo. Over 1,000 participants and 30 green exhibitors are expected to gather in Phuket on for the region’s sustainable tourism event.
Hosted at ACES, Angsana Laguna Phuket, this high-energy, no holds barred event focuses on major topics including destination development, ocean health, hotel sustainability, community tourism, smart energy solutions for sustainability, and global trends on sustainability. Keynote speakers include a mix of experts from both local and international organisations.
Alongside this fast-paced agenda, PHIST 5 will also feature a Green Expo, showcasing a comprehensive selection of environmentally friendly products, including sustainable solutions for environmental pollution, plastic-free products, water management solutions, energy management system for cost saving and energy efficiency of businesses, and much more! This will give hoteliers and attendees the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and discover innovative solutions to many of the biggest environmental issues facing hotels, resorts and destination communities.
Approximately 30 green exhibitors are expected to take part in the Expo, including Banpu NEXT, Oklin, Reef Repair, Good Drop Water, Development Management Group, Ecolab, Sentinel Solutions, Reddonatura, Diversey, Green Footprint, Royal Phuket Marina and Hoteliers.Guru.

Organised by the Phuket Hotels Association, Greenview and C9 Hotelworks, with support from the American Chamber of Commerce Thailand, Australian Chamber of Commerce Thailand, QUO and Delivering Asia Communications, PHIST 5 is a free-to-attend full-day forum that features highly informative sessions and networking opportunities. Attendance is complimentary but pre-registration is required. Only those with a confirmed Eventbrite QR code along with proof of at least two COVID vaccinations will be allowed entry. Registered delegates are also requested to follow SHA guidelines.
