JAL will start offering free, unlimited in-flight Wi-Fi to passengers on its domestic routes.
At present, the airline provides 15 minutes of free Wi-Fi per passenger, but this offer will be expanded on 1 February 2017 to become a completely free service. The initial promotional period will run until 31 August 2017.
To use the service, passengers can access the in-flight Wi-Fi service on their personal electronic devices between five minutes after take-off and five minutes before landing. They can then click the “Free Flight Pass” button to avail the complimentary service.
At present, 77 of JAL’s domestic aircraft are equipped with in-flight Wi-Fi.
