Free rail pass and travel products in Tohoku, Japan with Klook
Free rail pass and travel products for independent travellers now on sale on “Klook” special page to enjoy Tohoku area, popular destination for repeat visitors to Japan. The Yamagata Prefectural Government announces that it has set up a special page on a travel experience platform, “Klook,” following the lifting of Foreign Independent Tours (FITs) after a hiatus of three years.
To allow travelers to book a trip to Yamagata in the Tohoku area easier, the special page features a free rail pass for foreign travellers, “JR EAST PASS,” and experience-based travel products from Yamagata together, such as “Mogami River Basyo Line Descent,” “Maiko Gozen Feast Experience” and “Yamagata Wagyu BBQ Experience” which are provided on Klook.
The special page provides an easy way for travellers to book JR EAST PASS, which is usually offered on a different page from travel products, allowing travellers from Narita and Haneda airports to easily enjoy their trips to Yamagata.
Also, the special page introduces the prefecture’s efforts for travellers to enjoy the Tohoku area safely and securely, and the official tourism website of Yamagata, “STAY YAMAGATA,” and a newly filmed PR video, “myyamagata,” introduce the appeals of Yamagata, such as frost-covered trees of Zao and the Ginzan Onsen hot spa resort which are highly popular with travellers from Taiwan.
