Your Opportunity…
This role is responsible for producing the Treasury monthly management accounts, the related statutory accounting for the Group, managing the budgeting and forecast process for Treasury, and all accounting aspects of the Treasury system.
The role is part of the Global Treasury team but is also accountable to the Global Financial Reporting team for all treasury accounting results and information. The role requires that you will be commercially minded, highly organised and agile, with the ability to work effectively, autonomously and as part of a team. The individual is expected to be a trusted adviser to the global finance teams.
Day to Day…
Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and analysis for Treasury, and P4 Finance Pty Ltd (APRA submissions).
Preparation of annual budgets and maintenance of rolling 18 month forecast and variance analysis of actuals to budget
Maintain appropriate internal Treasury charging methodology
Ad hoc weekly and monthly reporting as required, including making presentations and recommendations to management
Use of the treasury management system (TMS) to create and produce other reports as required
Assisting in the preparation of all Treasury related information required for half year and annual results in accordance with relevant accounting standards including detailed working papers
Liaison with external auditors
Complete / Review detailed reconciliations (as appropriate), of a range of bank accounts (including foreign currency accounts) with high volumes of transactions and considerable complexity and maintain suitable control environment.
Work with global finance teams and businesses to identify opportunities and leverage One Best Way
Create solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial/treasury knowledge
About You…
Corporate Treasury experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Essential
CA/CPA qualification
Understanding and experience of Treasury Accounting including foreign exchange, liquidity, cashflow and various Financial Instruments
Power BI Skills
Knowledge of Treasury Financial Systems (City Financials, D365)
Knowledge of FCTG systems
Travel Industry knowledge desired
