We are looking for a Technical Team Leader to join the Payments Team to drive engineering leadership and practices. In this role you will be leading a team responsible for solutions that make it simple and fast for customers to shop, book and travel collaboratively with expert consultants anywhere and anytime throughout their travel journey.
As a member of the Payments Team (within product management and engineering), you will deliver quality and innovative payment solutions to delight our customers and achieve our strategic priorities. What You’ll Do…
Assist with software architecture and solution designs for products in the payments space
Work with product managers, UX and stakeholders to shape the best solutions available with a key focus on the customer
Develop a team of engineers through coaching, mentoring and management support
Provide order of magnitude estimations in solution optioning
Facilitate collaboration with other engineering teams, product managers and designers
Facilitate team ceremonies such as elaboration sessions, retrospectives and stand-ups
Lead and advocate for better development practices
Work closely with recruitment to hire and onboard engineers
Who you are…
7+ years professional experience in software development, ideally as a full-stack software engineer, delivering reliable, high quality and performant solutions
Proven track record in driving software engineering principles, improving code quality, standards, best practices, software design and architecture patterns
Experienced with DevOps tooling & practices valuing a DevOps culture
You love driving technical outcomes
