About the Business
Global Supply is Flight Centre Travel Group’s global in-house product procurement and consolidation business, servicing a number of Flight Centre’s worldwide selling businesses including Retail, in-country support, Liberty Travel, GoGo Worldwide Vacations and Flight Centre Asia.
About the Opportunity
The Systems Support Assistant Team Leader is responsible for all aspects of our Australia time zone (follow the sun) support for business-critical systems used by Global Supply and our Selling Partners globally.
As the Systems Support Assistant Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day 2nd level support of production TravelBox, Travolutionary, HotelHub and associated systems to ensure the delivery of system up time, triage, remediation and speed to resolution that enhances the value of Flight Centre Global Supply’s business systems.
What you will be doing:
Act as an intermediary between vendors and system users on day-to-day technical issues for all systems used by Global Supply
Support and analysis of system related issues through to resolution
Analyse workflow to maintain process maps and isolate areas of opportunity for business improvement
Review and approve system enhancements to ensure they meet the business’ requirements
Assist with the implementation of system enhancements across the global user base
Grow, Develop and inspire the team to be the best that they can be
Effectively lead the team to achieve team results
Train, develop and support team members
Documentation of processes
Contribute to the drive and success of the entire Global Supply Operations Systems Area
You will need:
Minimum one years’ experience in a leadership role
Minimum two years’ experience in an environment requiring:
Capture of information to assist with problem resolution and business process improvement
Dissemination of information via written and verbal communication
Organising and chairing meetings with business representatives
Knowledge of Jira Service Desk, travel management and TravelBox systems
Exposure to travel systems such that there is an understanding of the complexities of global booking systems
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Previous experience working with system development, release management, system testing and helpdesk support
Travel industry experience highly regarded
