We are looking for a product-minded business leader to build, scale, and manage FCM’s proprietary search and booking product.  This role will be responsible for translating FCM business requirements into prioritized product features.
Reporting into the FCM Chief Product Officer, the Head of FCM Booking sits at the cross-section of multiple teams within the FCM organization and the customer.  You will work with several business and technical teams to ensure FCM Booking addresses the requirements for FCM customers in the core FCM markets.  This will include booking workflows, functional enhancements, integration within the larger FCM Platform, local content integration and adaptation for the mid-/back-office and other operational processes.
Responsibilities:
You will sit close to the FCM Business to deeply understand the business strategy, opportunities, and challenges in that market (including Business Leaders, Account Management and Sales).
You will translate and prioritize these needs into product features and work with the FCM Booking development team to produce a product roadmap.
You will work closely with local technology teams to ensure the product fits with how we deliver our service to customers in market.
You will work closely with the UX Data Analysts, Product Designers and other Product Managers to ensure we deliver amazing user experiences that drive our and our customers’ objectives.
You will ensure that Implementations and Support teams are skilled up to effectively design the solution for, implement and support each customer, including delivery of release notes and other documentation.
You will work with Marketing teams to ensure we are effectively communicating the value and capabilities of FCM Booking to our customers and internal stakeholders.
You will be customer facing, contributing to Sales efforts and Account Management activities.
You will work very closely with the initial customers onboarded in the Americas and UK, driving a successful pilot program and using customer feedback to shape the product into a best-in-class online booking tool.
You will ideate and investigate until there is enough context to clearly define what we want to build.
You will research trends in both digital experiences and the travel industry.
You will contribute to the overall FCM Product strategy and ensure it is communicated and understood within the Americas region.
You will strive to understand “why” we are doing something before understanding “what” we are doing.
You will drive innovation in the booking experience and challenge the status quo.
