About the Business
Global Land Supply (GLS) is Flight Centre Travel Group’s global in-house product procurement and consolidation business, servicing a number of Flight Centre’s worldwide selling businesses including Retail, in-country support, Liberty Travel, GoGo Worldwide Vacations and Flight Centre Asia.
We are looking to expand our Global Partnerships Team by adding a Senior Contracting Manager. The role of a Senior Contracting Manager is integral to the successful achievement of the Global Procurement’s targets and goals.
Job Purpose
The role of the Senior Contracting Manager is to develop and implement a strategy for global third-party Car, Destination Management Company (DMC) and Connectivity platforms that aligns with stakeholder requirements and the Leisure Procurement business.
You will manage and enhance supplier relationships and agreements with a goal of improving returns to the Flight Centre Travel Group business via increased available margins, override returns and product sales across all business units (Leisure and Corporate).
Key Accountabilities
Commercial Product Strategy
Implement a third-party Procurement strategy which supports the profitable sales on Global Partnerships contracts
Deliver on TTV, margin and override growth ensuring targets are achieved
Deliver competitive and unique Product that meets stakeholder requirements
Secure profitable commercial agreements
Identify opportunities to improve existing commercial agreements
Supplier Relationships
Proactively manage supplier contracts enhancing and building on existing and new relationships
Build relationships with supplier partners and identify new opportunities
Partnerships
Collaborate and enhance relationships with key partners ensuring GLS have the best product and commercial returns to enable our Global Partners to deliver on their product strategies
Deliver a globally consistent approach to 3rd Party procurement
Maximise co-op support
Internal Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
Proactively communicate with GLS Business Leaders
Coordinate projects and communication across each discipline globally

What you will need:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in complex commercial negotiations
Proven success in a commercial role
Experience in Senior Stakeholder Management and Relationships
Exceptional communicator
Can develop and execute high level commercial strategies
Travel industry experience – wholesale travel preferred
