About your opportunity…
Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for an experienced Scrum Business Analyst to oversee and guide our Agile Product teams. In this role your responsibilities will include ensuring that our product/delivery teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices. You will be tasked with mentoring and encouraging teams to improve processes, and you will facilitate meetings and decision-making.
If you see yourself in this role, you should have a firm grasp of agile practices and the ability to effectively manage and mentor development teams. Communication and storytelling will be key to success, and you should be a natural networker – someone who takes a personal approach to building relationships.

What you’ll be doing…
Lead the team in using Agile methodology, values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices
Assist product teams establish effective ways of working, including the processes with our software vendors/partners and across product teams
Assist product teams run Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and scrum-of-scrums
Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the team
Tracking delivery processes, deliverables, and financials
Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders
Administer our Agile tools including Jira, Confluence, Product Board, and Miro
Who you are…
3+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role
Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions
Leadership experience
Excellent people and project management experience
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field
Certified scrum master or similar
Bonus points if you have some UX or Design Thinking experience
