Salesforce Developer
FCTGs Global CRM Team is responsible for delivering technology solutions that create efficiency and enhanced effectiveness for both our people and our corporate customers. With Salesforce technology at the core of these solutions, our Salesforce Platform Developers play a key role in evolving and maintaining our world class CRM technology platform.
As a Salesforce Platform Developer, you will carry out platform/application development and enhancements through configuration and Apex or Visualforce. You will develop unit test scripts for configuration and code.
Responsibilities:
Develop end to end solutions to meet project and business needs within deadlines
Work with members of the broader team to understand business requirements
Troubleshoot existing code when issues arise and offer solutions. Identify ways of proactively identifying technical or functional limitations (before the user/customer does).
Through technology, process, and tooling innovation continuously improve the value, quality, security, and performance of our products and solutions.
Work with members of the broader team to ensure the best solution is sought and implemented to any existing or future builds
Understand technical architecture and work with Solution and Technical Architects in order to provide the best solution.
Be curious and strive for innovation and aim for making our products and solutions better every day.
Requirements:
3-5 years (min) of SFDC development experience (Visualforce, Apex)
Prior experience with another object-oriented programming language (eg. Java) and with website development
Good database knowledge (SQL and noSQL)
Understanding of SF metadata API
Experience working in Agile development teams
Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle using automation tools and source control systems
Demonstrates constructive conflict resolution skills to ensure a positive outcome for all involved
Knows how to embrace conflict to achieve a win/win outcome for all parties involved
Thinks outside the square when overcoming problems
Analyse data and all other sources of information
Takes a commercially value based approach, being able to judge/weigh wants and needs to ensure integrity and security of data
Understands how CRM and process and technology innovation drive business benefit
