Recruitment Marketing Specialist – People & Culture

Purpose:
The Recruitment Marketing Specialist will be responsible for implementing the external and internal Talent Acquisition Marketing strategy for Flight Centre Travel Group South Africa.
The role will be responsible for developing and implementing FCTG’s Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing strategies by bringing modern marketing methods and tactics to the recruitment process in order to attract top talent in the market through our social media platforms
In the current environment, there is a need to be innovative and creative and have a strong working knowledge of current marketing and advertising trends.
The role will need to work closely with the internal comms and recruitment team.
Strong communication, design and technical platform management skills are essential, given this role is required to produce most of the communication collateral in-house to share on all social media platforms.
Primary duties and responsibilities (KRAs)
Management of FCTG’s external recruitment strategy:
Create and implement external advertising campaigns across all brands to support staff growth. This can include copywriting, design, project planning, campaign management, budgeting and more
Identify the tactics and platforms that will be most effective in reaching a specified target audience
Act as the recruitment and education representative for internal communication requirements
Communicate recruitment team to ensure strategy is widely understood and create buy-in for any internal stakeholders
Digital campaigns on social channels with target marketing to attract the correct personas per brand ultimately increasing application numbers
Budgeting and Reporting:
Track, measure and report on campaign results
Work with the Recruitment TL, to ensure the ROI on application source is effective and reduce cost per hire where applicable
Employer Brand:
Develop a strong employer brand across multiple channels such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn etc. to increase direct applications and enhance employer of choice reputation
Help review, create and maintain EVP’s
Exposure to Best Company To Work For, results as well as culture within
Careers site and Alumni Page:
Maintain flightcentrecareers.co.za and create engaging content to increase traffic to the site alongside our web developer
Creation of EDM’s, company and brand messages
Stakeholder Relationships:
Manage relationships with suppliers where necessary
Create associations with universities, local colleges, and opportunities for careers fairs
Work collaboratively with the recruitment, internal comms, Flight Centre Foundation team to ensure marketing activity is aligned with company objectives
Work collaboratively with other FCTG recruitment marketers that may sit in other global countries
Job Requirements
Education and qualification:
Minimum requirements
Added advantage
Marketing or business-related equivalent work experience
Other qualifications in Business or Change Management.
Experience:
(Minimum level of experience required for the role)
Minimum 2 years+ marketing and /or communications experience with a proven records working with business stakeholders.
Knowledge and understanding of communications strategies, communications principles, best practice and emerging trends and technologies.
Knowledge and 1 year experience with campaign management
Knowledge and 1 year experience around social media platforms
Recruitment marketing – advantageous
