General Information
Job title:
Land Support Consultant (08 month contract)
Purpose:
To support retail consultants in their booking process with any product not loaded in Helio.
We always have the businesses best interests at heart and always have the customer front of mind.
Primary duties and responsibilities (KRAs)
Supporting Retail
To work closely with retail consultants to help book any product (land or air) that is not loaded in Helio.
In depth knowledge of Helio platforms and Retail strategies to drive maximum productivity and prevent leakage.
Deep understanding of the leisure core systems
Attention to detail.
Relationship building with Helio support, Pricing team, product team.
Product and system Expertise:
In depth knowledge on any product you assist with.
Continuous self-development on preferred product and product ranges.
In-depth knowledge on travelbox as well as flexibliliy on work-arounds
Out of the box thinking and problem solving capabilities.
Follow one best way blueprint to mitigate risk
Drive Helio usage within Flight Centre to increase booking confidence with retail consultants, therefore, driving productivity.
Customer Experience:
Always have the customer front of mind
Follow the one best way Customer Experience process
Retail relationship management to promote the brand
Understand that what you do, directly affects the customer
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
Admin:
Use of correct supplier codes and correct MPI’s
Communication with suppliers/hotels to assist retail with waivers/favours/ requests etc.
Assisting AL, finance and support with investigating queries on bookings
Assisting our customers with price matches
Must be adaptable. The role and duties will evolve as the system evolves, you need to be able to embrace and promote change.
Attention to detail: Be confident enough in the system to give the correct advice so as to have few to none write offs in the business.
Understand that everything you do has a direct effect on the company’s margin, finance payments, and the customers travel experience.

Tertiary qualification
Experience:
SA citizen / Relevant working visa
2 years wholesale experience
Travel industry experience (wholesale or retail)
Helio super-user: Advantageous
