Job title:
Graphic Designer – Intermediate
Purpose:
To produce advertising, publishing and promotional material for all Flight Centre Travel Group brands, meeting very tight deadlines, satisfying client briefs in adherence to brand CI. Working in a high-pressure environment of creativity and innovation, applying the applicable brand standards and styles to all material produced.
Primary duties and responsibilities
Artwork Production
Artwork creation for both digital and traditional advertising (campaign artwork, social posts, static web banners, store signage and much more).
Responsible for both customer facing and internal artwork creation
Complete full spec of brief, from concept to print/media
Ensure all Flight Centre Travel Group brand standards are met
All produced material is signed off by campaign partners and marketing managers
All material to media/print is completed before the deadlines in the production brief
Brand Communication
All material produced, meets all Flight Centre Travel Group’s requirements in relation to brand standards
Providing direction and clarity to internal Flight Centre Travel Group clients in relation to brand communication standards
Liaising with Flight Centre Travel Group Global creative teams in relation to artwork and brand communication
Time management and accuracy
All production deadlines for artwork (including proofs) are met so that Flight Centre Travel Group is able to ensure its pro-activeness in the market
Minimises mistakes, errors and omissions so that these do not delay the production process
Artwork delivered within brand standards and deadlines

Education and qualification:
Minimum requirements
Added advantage
Graphic Design background Macintosh proficient with Adobe Creative Suite CC programs:
• Advanced Adobe InDesign (essential)
• Advanced Adobe Photoshop (essential)
• Illustrator (essential)
Relevant Tertiary qualification, e.g. Graphic Design diploma or degree
Experience:
4 years previous experience as a Graphic Designer and preferably in a Retail / Corporate environment
Strong DTP and typesetting skills
Strong creative flair with the ability to conceptualise originalideas and layouts
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and work on various different jobs simultaneously within specified deadlines.
Ability to build relationships with external suppliers and internal teams
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, able to work off templates and within strict brand standards
