As an RPA Developer in Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) you will be assisting in the end-to-end process from designing and developing to-be solutions, to testing workflows and supporting and maintaining automations in production.  You will bring a consultative approach as you help mature our brands through POC’s and assist in the education and growth of RPA within FCTG.
 
You’ll report to the Leader of the Automation Team but embrace an autonomous role that will see you interact and engage with stakeholders around the globe.  As an RPA Developer, you will be working within our business to understand requirements, build and document new automated processes using best practice, testing, and supporting the deployment with the assistance of a managed service partner. Adopting Continuous Improvement/Continuous Development (CI/CD) practices to ensure ongoing relevancy of solutions implemented.
 
Day to day:
 
Craft Process Definition Documents (PDD) and process flow charts
Identify RPA opportunities, re-engineered existing processes and prepare Solution Design Documents (SDD)
Lead, design, build, test and deploy into production solutions that address the organisation’s business needs using Uipath, aligned to architecture principles and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Implementing enhancements and change requests as part of a structured change control process
Ensure operational handovers are completed and clear understanding of roles & responsibilities post production deployment.
Manage own workload ensuring status and priority of tasks is balanced and up to date
Ensure effective communication through change management cycles
Produce workable solutions to a range of problems
Present ideas & concepts logically and clearly 
Consultant and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders around the globe guiding Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects
 
Key Skills Required:
 
2-4+ years’ experience with UiPath
Strong experience in scripting languages such as JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, and databases such as SQL and NoSQL, databricks
Strong Problem-Solving, and System Testing skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365® Enterprise
General knowledge of Agile software development concepts and processes
Excellent communication skills, including ability to write concise technical documents
Open approach to learning
Strong “Solution consulting” skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders. 
 
You’ll earn brownie points with:
 
Working Knowledge or experience in other RPA solutions eg Power Platform
Experience in Jira, Confluence  
UiRPA/UiARD (RPA Associate/Advanced RPA Developer) – Highly Regarded
