Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen to join our European Revenue Management and Pricing team in Flight Centre Travel Group. As travellers come back to experience the world, our team is looking for a dynamic executive to help shape and drive the commercial performance across our Corporate and Leisure brands.
This is an entry-level position, which will interact with all travel verticals (Air, Rail, Hotel, Car Rental etc). The role reports into the Head of Revenue Management and Pricing, and will be responsible for setting up, distributing, pricing and monitoring the content that we make available to our customers in a portfolio of brands and markets, in line with the European Supply strategy and to maximise the income opportunities for the group. This role provides great exposure to our business, as you will work directly with multiple stakeholders across our commercial, marketing, brands, data, finance and business solutions functions. It’s a great way to embark in the travel industry in a multi-faceted adventure, where you will be able to define and deliver your own initiatives.
A key part of achieving the above is to identify pricing opportunities through thoughtful and insightful analysis which incorporates performance trends, pricing architecture analysis against peers and competitor pricing intelligence. All pricing decisions need to be data driven, so ensuring we have the right data and insights is a critical part of this role. Finally, as we are progressing with various disruptive technologies, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our business, including defining and leading the adoption of new solutions to maintain a competitive edge for the group. Key responsibilities:
Owning the content distribution and pricing of your portfolio, from the moment travel suppliers make it available to us, to the selling and servicing stage with our customer-facing teams, in order to maximise the opportunity for Flight Centre Travel Group.
Define a road to success for your portfolio in terms of pricing and commercial strategy, and lead its execution and performance, in line with the European Revenue Management strategy.
Represent the Revenue Management team in various internal forums to support company-wide initiatives.
Contribute to the growth of the Revenue Management team, both in terms of Strategy as well as systems and processes.
Define and lead the adoption of key initiatives internally, both in terms of commercial opportunities and technical solutions.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have several of the following traits:
Strong analytical mindset, able to make sense of complex data to isolate the key trends and make the complex sound simple.
Commercially minded, able to understand and anticipate the effect of a decision on the wider business.
Hands-on approach, as you will be delivering your ideas and performance in our pricing and distribution systems.
