The Productivity and Collaboration (P&C) Junior Engineer role is crucial to the build and support of P&C solutions across Enterprise Technology Services (ETS). As the P&C Engineer you’ll have specialised knowledge in Productivity and Collaboration technologies and enjoy solving problems, and keeping up to date with the latest developments and trends in the industry. This role will include a mix of responsibilities between general BAU support as well as providing expert knowledge and experience on small to large projects across the P&C pillar.

Day to day:
Administration and Management of the following applications and services
M365 Cloud Services in a multi-tenant global environment
AD Connect
Mimecast Email Security platform
Video Conference Booking Systems
Video Conference Room Facilities
Okta Identity Management
Ensures systems, solutions, and policies are thoroughly maintained and documented
Identifies & implement optimization and automation opportunities
Analyses existing P&C systems and operations and develops preventative maintenance strategies
Offers 3rd level support to implemented solutions
Works with vendors to resolve incidents when appropriate
Plans, schedules and monitors work to meet time and quality targets.
Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders who share common objectives.
Selects appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications.
Understands the importance of security to own work and the operation of the organisation.
Seeks specialist security knowledge or advice when required to support own work or work of immediate colleagues.
Communicates complex information to a non-technical audience
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum 2 years Administrator/Engineer experience in an M365 environment
Experience with Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other M365 Service Offerings
PowerShell experience is a plus, including experience with M365 admin modules
Experience with OKTA or another Identity Management Platform
Experience with Power Automate is a plus
Customer first mindset
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Communicates fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
