About the Opportunity
We are looking for a results-driven software tester to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The software tester will conduct tests, analyse the results, and report observations to the design and development team. You may also interact with clients to understand the requirements of the product.
To be successful as a QA Tester, you should have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyze the results. Ultimately, the software tester should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design.
Test Strategy Create effective test strategy, test plan according to project schedule and development cycle. Reviewing software requirements to prepare test scenarios. Help troubleshoot issues.
Risk Management, Analyzing test results on database impacts, applications errors or bugs, and usability.
Communications Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
Documentation Create logs to document testing phases and defects. Prepare failure analysis report and provide corrective actions.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
Experience in project management and QA methodology
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
Excellent communication skills
